POSIglaze Frameless
Glass Balustrade
The most important thing to recognise is that if no top rail is in place then toughened laminated glass must be used. Building Regulations require a height of 1100mm for external balustrades and 900mm for internal (although this can feel a little low to some people).
POSI-glaze frameless glass balustrade system uses a pre-drilled aluminium glass channel which can either be base or side fixed with cladding fixed to the sides for the final finish. Grips secure the glass in place, a rubber gasket and optional stainless steel top rail can then be added. This provides you with a simple yet stunning frameless balustrade system!
